According to Beosin EagleEye, the total loss in the Web3 sector in the first half of 2023 amounted to 655.61 million USD.

These losses are due to hacker attacks, online scams and Rug Pull problems by project teams. There were 108 attack incidents reported with an estimated total loss of $471.43 million.

The scam resulted in approximately $108 million in losses, while there were 110 Rug Pull incidents with a total loss of approximately $75.87 million. Notably, the total damage from hacker attacks in the Web3 domain has decreased significantly compared to the previous year.

In the first half of 2022, the total loss is about 1.91 billion USD, followed by about 1.69 billion USD in the second half of 2022. However, in the first half of 2023, this figure drops to 470 million USD..
